How to book Rwanda gorilla trekking permits for 2022/ 2023
There are two options of booking gorilla trekking permit in Rwanda and the first option is booking directly through Rwanda Development Board (RDB) where you will contact the park headquarters in Kigali through email or telephone call inquiring about availability of the gorilla permits.

Gorilla trekking takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the mountain gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During trekking, you will be able to view other primate species, different bird species, tree and plants among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a chance to learn more about their habits, lifestyle, watch them carry out their daily activities, take photos and record videos to show people back home after the safari.
