Other walking trails in Bwindi includes; the Rushura Hill Trail, Muzabajiro Loop Trail and the River Ivi Trail of which the latter follows an old road through the forest, emerging close on the southern edge of the impenetrable forest. The Buhoma community walk and cultural performances can take up three hours ‘’3hours’’ visiting a typical homestead, visiting the Batwa pygmies and a banana beer brewery which is organized by the local community. The best activities to do in Buhoma sector are; Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience. Gorilla families in this sector includes; Mubare, Rushegura and Habinyanja.
Nkuringo sector; This sector is found closely to the Buhoma sector for about 10kilometers from Buhoma. Although this distance is covered by the impenetrable Forest and a hiking through the forest takes about 4 hours. Then, connecting by the car from the two points covers about 7 to 8hours.Villages at Nkuringo also operates a community walk experience leads you to visit the rural homestead, blacksmith and brewers.
Ruhija sector; The Ruhija sector is one of the four gorilla sector in Bwindi including; Ruhija, Bitukura and Kyaguriro. It is a famous sector for its various birdlife on top of the gorillas and it is considered the most remote sector of all the four. There is a three-hour visit to Mubwindi swamp a best area for birding. Gorilla families in this sector includes Ruhija, Bitukura and Kyaguriro.
Rushaga sector; This is the best sector that hosts a number of gorilla families including; Mishaya, Nshongi, Kahungye and Busingye. The main done activity is Gorilla trekking.
