The Mabira forest canopy Super Skyway is a canopy Zipline experience -system that sends you soaring between the tallest trees in the rainforest.

 This life experience can be guided by Sky guides who led you to pass through ancient trees across a network of 5 ziplines that stretches 250 metres across River Musamya. Ziplining experience can be strictly used by international safety standards with imported climbing gears and art high ropes from America. Just know participants are belayed up the first tree which goes through the whole system and repelled on a 78meter diagonal zip. Take note, the higher it goes in the canopy one is able to enjoy a view of the forest layers, primate species like monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys and red-tailed monkeys, birdlife like African fish eagles, great blue turacos, Palm nut vultures and roaring griffin falls thus making your zipline tour unforgettable experience.

The hike back from the skyways brings you to the beautiful Griffin Falls and back to the camp which offers accommodation, meals, mountain biking many more. The experience can take a maximum of 4 hours.

Griffin Falls Camp is a donation system, orchestrated by Mabira Forest Integrated Community Organization ‘’MAFICO’’ with the purpose of supporting ecotourism and generating income to fund worthwhile projects.

MAFICO is non-governmental organization ‘’NGO’’ set up by the people living within and around Mabira Forest.

This ‘’NGO’’ mission is to improve the livelihoods and welfare of the local communities around the area of Mabira forest by conserving the environment through development.

MAFICO a non-governmental organization it’s work is to encourage stewardship of the forest through environmental education, fundraising for sustainable conservation and community projects and networking and mobilization of about 72 local community based on organizations.

More so, MAFICO’s is an organization project which includes constructing 1000 mud stive fuel savers to reduce charcoal usage, establishment of a tree nursey and two community wood, also train in sustainable and profitable farming techniques as well as the creation of Griffin Falls Camp to help fund future projects.

There is 3 Bandas which can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests at the eco-tourism site near Najjembe Trading Centre. Note; The Bandas is self-catering but some light meals can be prepared for you by the House Keeper.

A traveler may choose to combine it with a visit to the source of the Nile in Jinja which is a few drives from Mabira to access Jinja ‘’1hour’’. Visit the source of the Nile and be able to engage in thrilling activities like Bird watching, white water rafting, White water Kayaking on River Nile, Rolling Clinics, Quad biking among others.
